Is YUHA really free?
Yes. The Free plan gives you YUHA Chat (20 messages/day), activity logging, nutrition tracking, and a basic readiness score. No credit card required. You can use YUHA free indefinitely — we're not going to bait-and-switch.
What is YUHA Coach?
YUHA Coach is the Premium session brain that synthesizes your readiness score, active training plan, goals, and yesterday's training into a single daily recommendation. It ensures your "Today's Session" card and Readiness hero always agree — if your readiness says rest, the session says rest too. It uses a 5-tier waterfall: injury safety → race day → heavy-training recovery → baseline plan → weather and alternatives.
What is YUHA Insights?
Insights is the analytics engine that identifies patterns across your health data. It computes: weekly health score (composite of sleep, stress, training load, steps), sleep-to-performance correlation, zone-2 training quality, aerobic efficiency trend, VO2max trajectory, and stress & recovery balance. These are computed with 7–28 days of data and updated regularly.
What data sources does YUHA connect to?
YUHA connects to Strava (activities, GPS routes, pace, heart rate) and Garmin Connect (sleep, HRV, stress, body battery, VO2max, training load, wellness). You can also log activities manually via chat — just describe what you did and YUHA logs it. Free plan supports one connected source; Premium supports both simultaneously.
Is my health data private?
Yes. YUHA reads your data to coach you — we never sell it, share it with third parties, or modify your connected accounts. We only request read-only OAuth scopes from Strava and Garmin. See our full Privacy Policy.
When does paid billing start?
We're currently in alpha. All users get Premium features for free while we're in this phase. We'll give clear advance notice before any paid plans activate — and alpha users will get a discount. Request an alpha code to get started.
Can I use an invite code?
Yes. If you have a YUHA alpha invite code (format: YUHA-ALPHA-XXXXXX), you can redeem it inside the app by clicking your chat counter in the top nav → "Redeem" tab. This grants Premium comp access.
How does the 7-day trial work?
When paid billing launches, Premium will include a 7-day free trial — no charge until day 8. You can cancel any time during the trial and owe nothing. We'll send a reminder 24 hours before the trial ends.
